The powerful new iMac Pro is available now. Here’s everything you need to know, from design and tech specs to price and release date
Apple promised a professional-grade Imac back in April 2017 at a briefing.
The Imac pro started shipping on 14 of December.

Now you can get the standard model and it should arrive between 2-4 January 2018.
Other configurations have a delivery date of 6-8 weeks.
But if you live in the US your Imac pro will ship between 4-6 business days.
How much will the iMac Pro cost?
The standard model stars at $4,999.
It’s very expensive, but Apple claims that if you built a PC with the same specs it would
cost you $2000 more, without the display.
Now you can only buy the base 8-core and 10-core models. The faster models will ship in 2018.
the highest model is a 2.3GHz 18-core Xeon W processor(Turbo Boost up to 4.3GHz), Vega 64 Graphics, 128GB memory, 2TB Storage, and 4TB storage. Apple claims that this configuration
will ship in 6-10 weeks.
The standard model ships on 2 January – 4 January.
iMac Pro design

But the Imac changed not just from the outward, Apple has had to completely rethink the thermal architecture in order to house the new components.
New fan system that offers a claimed 80 percent increase in cooling.
A company spokesperson added: “We reengineered the whole system and designed an entirely new thermal architecture to pack extraordinary performance into the elegant, quiet iMac enclosure our customers love. iMac Pro is a huge step forward and there’s never been anything like it.”
